Creminelli Fine Meats
Salt Lake City salumi producer; eleventh-generation Italian charcuterie family operating in Utah. Mid-tier price; strong distribution.
Cristiano Creminelli is the eleventh generation of an Italian charcuterie family from Biella, Piedmont — making him about as legitimately Italian-trained as American-based producers get. Founded 2006 in Salt Lake City, Creminelli has become the most widely distributed premium American salumi brand, with strong Whole Foods presence, Costco bulk packs, and specialty retail across the US. The line includes traditional fermented salami (sopressata, calabrese), prosciutto, pancetta, and the relatively recent "sliced craft charcuterie" packaging that's become the convenient American consumer entry point.
Quality is solidly premium tier — not the artistic level of Fra' Mani or the long-aged work of La Quercia, but consistently excellent for the price point and dramatically better than industrial alternatives.
